Robyn has been living and working as a GP in Gerringong for 36 years. Graduating in 1979 with Honours she spent some time working in Tasmania and enjoying bushwalking before relocating to Gerringong. City living was never on the agenda!

She and husband Andrew have raised four daughters in Gerringong and now have eight grandchildren.

Robyn is an active member of the Rotary Club of Gerringong, a founding member and twice President. She is involved in volunteering and involving other doctors in the local Rotary Skin Cancer checks held 3-4 times a year in our community. In 2004-2007 Robyn made three trips to the Philippines with a volunteer Rotary team, leading the medical clinics in remote villages.

Her other interests include photography, gardening, escaping to the bush (especially using her off-grid caravan), aquarobics, swimming and snorkelling. Boat Harbour is her favourite spot in Gerringong.

Robyn enjoys teaching medical students and mentoring colleagues and has been supervising students and GP registrars for over 20 years. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong.

Robyn enjoys the variety that is General Practice. Variety that includes different personalities, diseases, ages and complexities of patients. Her special interests include complex medical care and most general practice issues. Her aim is to treat people like “I would want my Mother to be treated”

Robyn retired from practice in February 2024.
