Gerringong Medical Practice is pleased to offer the free RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine for eligible patients.

RSV is a common viral infection that can cause serious illness, particularly in:

• Older adults
• Infants
• Pregnant women (to protect newborns)

Vaccination is the best way to reduce the risk of severe illness and hospitalisation.

Who is eligible?

The RSV vaccine is available free of charge for eligible patients under the National Immunisation Program, including:

• Pregnant women (to protect their baby after birth)
• Adults aged 75 years and over (60 years for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people)
