The GPs at Gerringong Medical Practice have agreed to bulk bill all patients under the age of 16.
We aim to make our practice baby and child friendly with a baby change table, and a “little people’s area” with colouring in and an activity centre to play with.
Services Provided
- Baby Checks (Blue book)
- Advice regarding weight gain, breast and bottle feeding and unsettled behaviour.
- Vaccinations – we work closely with our skilled practice nurses to provide vaccinations in a timely manner.
- Additional childhood vaccinations – we advocate for additional Meningococcal B vaccinations that are not currently covered by the National Immunisation Program. These can be commenced at 8 weeks of age.
- Developmental assessments.
- Allergy testing (RAST or pathology not skin prick testing).
- Assessment and management of common sleep problems eg sleep apnoea
- Assessment and management of a range of childhood problems including eczema, asthma, ear and throat infections, common viral infections, skin rashes, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and many more.
- Assessment and management of stress, depression, anxiety and other psychological problems in children and adolescents
