The fees below are listed as a guide only as most of the GPs at Gerringong Medical Practice are independent contractors. Please phone if you require more information.
You may be eligible for a discounted fee if you are have an eligible concession card.
Generally, there is no out-of-pocket cost for:
- Children under the age of 16 years (if they have a Medicare card) with the exception of procedures, Saturday mornings and after-hours
- DVA card holders, for eligible services
- Immunisations
- Nurse services (excluding specialised dressings and cervical screening)
- Chronic disease care plans
- Health assessments

Prescription ONLY Phone Appointments
For regular prescription renewal only (excluding Authority scripts and pain management medication).
Your doctor may recommend that you make a later appointment to ensure your safety and quality health care, for example, having your blood pressure checked for a blood pressure medication. Your doctor will be unable to attend to any other issues in this appointment. If you have other issues, then please make a standard consultation (short or long appointment).

Nurse Wound Care
If you require more specialised dressings for your wound care, we can supply these to you at cost. For our DVA patients, we may be able to write a prescription for some dressings.

No skin procedures will be bulk-billed. However, there will be no fees charged for standard after care such as the removal of sutures.

Payment
Payment at the time of your consultation is required and can by made by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS. We can send your Medicare claim electronically and, if your banking details are registered with Medicare, you will receive your rebate into your bank account usually within 48 hours or if you have a debit card we can have your rebate paid instantly.
